About Us
Learn about our mission, our team, and how we are making a difference in the community
Stark County residents have access to a variety of social services. What’s often missing, though, is an understanding of how best to access those resources–especially when residents are in crisis. The staff of the Stark Community Support Network (SCSN) ensure residents know about, understand, and gain access to these resources. SCSN also delivers a range of services to support the immediate and long-term needs of members of our community.
Mission Statement
The Stark Community Support Network (SCSN) is a community-based agency dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and families in need or crisis. SCSN provides culturally and linguistically relevant assistance, programs, and services that empower underserved, low income, and minority community members to improve the quality of life for them, their families, and community. SCSN’s staff members assist individuals to identify needs, connect them to available social or clinical services, and supports them and their families in overcoming barriers to well-being and independence.
